Women's conference was tonight! I went with my girl, and in-laws. It's always so good to hear their counsel! Love that Kenadee can come with me! Crazy that Kolbi will be coming in a few years too.

Kenadee went to Clear Creek this morning! She was SO excited! Not growing up in Utah, I have no idea what this is really like or what they actually do. Taylor, his siblings, and cousins remember going though and have fond memories of it. It's an overnighter and they stay in cabins. They do a bunch of crafty stuff. Other than that, I don't know. They stayed up late talking about boys. She couldn't really even tell me what they ate. Haha. Boys were the priority, apparently. ;)

I got my crafty on while she was gone. Taylor came home and helped me fix all my mistakes. ;) Thank goodness for him! He's so good to me!

Kenadee came home from Clear Creek and quickly started her next project, too. Her first quilt (and pillow) to go along with Kolbi's new doll bed. I wish I would have started her sewing sooner. She LOVES it! Like, seriously OCD, like me, about her projects. She was exhausted from the camp, but stayed awake later than she wanted to finish up her little quilt.

Someone that Taylor went to school with was finding people with freckles to photograph. Fisher made her "cut" and he had a mini solo session. We have patiently waited, because she didn't charge us, for weeks to get these pictures back. Worth the wait though! I am SO thrilled with how they turned out! I love my freckled face boy! I'm not sure how her lens was able to capture those freckles so PERFECTLY!

I brought out my inner Lagertha today. 5 reverse french braids in total. (from Viking)

I haven't been to Walmart in literally in over 4 months! Dang it all, and their good deal on charcoal. Grrrr!

After my errands this morning, I met with Annie at Rumbi for some much needed girl time! She's such a good friend. She's been with me thru thick and thin! Love her; can't get enough of her!

Can you tell which one of my kids I spend the most time with? Always pictures of Kolbi. haha! Taylor was out of his milk for a few days and has been teasing about going hungry because he can't have cereal. So, I sent him this picture to show we stocked up for him; Costco style.

Kolbi has been talking about wanting one of these dolls for months. They were on sale at Target this week, so I figured I'd get it for her Easter basket. Well, she fell in love. She wouldn't stop playing with her hair, and loving on her. I guess it's expected to spoil your baby. Needless to say, Kolbi got her doll before Easter. :)

Jackson's friend, Jace, came by to play. I guess Jack wanted to jump on his buddy's scooter "bike" instead of ride his own scooter over to Jace's house. hahaha!

We had a pretty lovely weekend! Taylor spent some time working on the bikes.

We played some baseball with the kids. SO glad Taylor was here to be the pitcher; I'll stick with being catcher. ;)

Kenadee had a bunch of kids over and they played in the sprinklers. I can't believe the warm weather we've been having!

Then we had a Lonesome Dove marathon! I love this movie. I grew up watching it; it reminds me of my dad. It's a long 6+ hours of watching, but I'm an emotional wreck by the end of it. Kenadee and Jack loved it too!

I like to create things. Big projects, and small 5 minute project.

I think I proved this statement to be true. I'm still hurting and taking pain pills every day. Dumb me. My brother called this week to check in on me. Love that guy! We sat there and talked for a good 30 minutes. As we were talking I thought how much I love my family. I'm so glad I have such a good relationship with my brother, where we can talk about "real" stuff (not just how the weather is). I love that I can tell him my opinion, and that he can give me his advice. Clint moved to Arizona literally the day after he graduated from high school, so we haven't lived in the same state for almost 16 years, yet we are still good friends! LOVE him, and his wife, and his darling little boy!

This little girl.... "Mom, you are the best. Not the best best; like the best in the whole. But just the best." hahaha!

This morning was our stake farm assignment, so we picked up big rocks out of the fields so that they can plant corn (?). It's a good experience for all of us to serve.

Years of work and LOTS of rocks!

After two hours of making piles of rocks, we took off with some friends to ride. Taylor and I peeked at a new spot on our way back from our ride yesterday. It is a great family friendly spot and only 10 minutes from our house! The Brown's and Westwood's joined us. We all had SO MUCH fun! The kids loved being able to take off with their friends on the bikes, us adults had plenty of seat time too. We were there for almost 5 hours! This new place had a huge flat area, small jumps, and some huge jumps too.

Jackson getting some air!

Kolbi fits into Fisher's red/black gear now. Sad that she's outgrown her little pink ones! She was so mad at Taylor when she fell. hahaha!

Ryan convinced Taylor to go off a bigger jump. He freaking nailed it! I was so proud of him!!

The whole gang! Two bikes and the quad are missing from the picture though. ;)

I learned a big lesson today too. I probably could have rode this landing out if I had been squeezing my knees like I was suppose to. You can tell by my white boots I'm already starting to fly over the handlebars. It didn't end pretty. My riding shirt looks fine, but it ripped some holes in my garments and left some nasty road rash on my shoulder. I was seeing stars for a minutes, but am overall fine. I was already crazy sore from our ride yesterday, but now I'm sore to bone. I think the collarbone was flexed to the point of almost breaking, but didn't. My knees and legs are really bruised, and scratches on my hands and forearms. Not sure which wounds go with which day though. So, the lesson? I'm not ready to jump. As bad as I want to jump, I need to work on technique.
