Taylor took off and went riding with some work friends after work. The kids had gotten a bunch of restaurant coupons from the walk-a-thon and from the boys reading class. I didn't want to make dinner so we used up all our coupons. They all LOVED KFC. haha! With 3 coupons our total came to $10. :) And here is proof that you can eat out and stay healthy. (I took this picture to remember what to import for my dinner) My dinner was 315 calories. (11 fat, 20 carbs, and 38 protein)

Then off to Culvers for their free scoop of custard. Happy kids! :)

Today was scouts. We were over at Alisha's house today (so glad I didn't have to tidy up my house!) We were teaching the boys how to tie certain knots, ties, and even shoelaces. They looked so cute all lined up on Alisha's benches that I had to take a picture. The lighting is bad because I'm facing all the natural light coming in the house, but I'm still glad I took the picture. Alisha snapped a few of me teaching them how to wrap a present. I love how they think they know everything already. It really is kinda cute!
Last week we learned about safety at house and on the street. Here's a quote from a new scout when we were talking about using matches. "My dad uses a match every time he goes to the bathroom because he's so stinky." Total matter of fact too. He wasn't trying to be funny!
I've been in scouts just over 2 years. I'm kinda burned out of it, but at the same time, it's a way better calling then lots, and I do enjoy it. It's just a pain sometimes to record everything down and plan for the upcoming week.

Tonight I went to get my stake presidency temple recommend interview, and this was the glorious site when I got home! Taylor was out teaching Kenadee how to mow the lawn! This one of the many perks to having your kids grow up! Hallelujah!! :)

I LOVE when Taylor is around to help with homework. Jackson has zero ability to focus and needs constant supervision. He's pretty smart, he just gets distracted SO easily. So when Taylor is home and helps it out, it is a much needed break for me.

I'm home now and we are back to normal life! That's a sugar cookie in her hair. haha!

The kids Sunday afternoon activities: chicken fights. Silly guys! Their laughing was music to my ears!

Here are some pictures that Taylor sent me while I was gone...
Taylor had cleaned the kitchen and used the bar stool to "block" it, to remind the kids the kitchen is closed. He had them eat their dinner outside on the deck while it was sprinkling rain. haha! I came home to a perfectly clean house though!

They rode bikes to pick up Fisher from school.

A couple cute faces!

Kenadee painting Kolbi's nails. I asked if Fisher was in line to be next. :)

Taylor got a tee-time after Fisher got home from school and took the kids along for the ride. haha! Don't feel bad for Taylor for being home for 4 days with the kids; he set himself up and whipped these kids into shape! I'm gonna have to use some of his techniques! He's showing me up!

This morning we went to my cousin, Jacklyn's, volleyball games. I love volleyball; it was really fun to watch her and goof off with my mom and aunts.
Jacque, mom, Lisa, me.

Mom, Jacklyn, me.

We picked up a few more family members after the games, then went to a local Mexican restaurant. Yum!

Even though we were totally stuffed, we stopped and got donuts. haha!

Went back home and rested, then ran a few errands. Then went out to dinner together. I love this family of mine! It doesn't matter what we're doing, we'll have fun anywhere!

Seriously, though, this boy is so sweet and so cute!

I got to change this sweetie into his pi's and then snuggled him to sleep. Naked babies are the best! I can't believe I have to fly home tomorrow morning. I'm going to miss him! Love you baby Cash!

Isn't Cash the cutest!?!

Today mom and I made cookies and meals for Clint and Natasha's freezer today.

It's been so sweet to see my brother be a dad. Awwww! :)

I may (or may not) be a baby hog.

I didn't feel like running today. I got started later than I was planning and it was already 72 degrees by the time I got out the door, so I did a 4 mile power walk instead. I kid you not, as I'm walking down the sidewalk, a car drives by slow and the guy, with his arm out the window, totally whistles at me! Ya, he was an older guy and had solid grey hair, but I was so stoked! haha! I've still got it! I was on the phone with Taylor when it happened too. So funny!

Cash and I had some good bonding today. I spent quite a bit of time holding him and loving him and kissing on him! I've never had a feeling quite like this before. I have lots of other nieces and nephews, but this time it feels different. It's my brother's baby. I have hoped and wanted my brother to have kids for years. {for his sake, but also mine :) }  This baby is here now. The closest way to describe my feelings is that I love him like my own. I love him so much!

I haven't rocked a baby to sleep in a LONG time and I loved every second of it!

Natasha brought Cash out and asked who wanted goodnight kisses. Oh cute! Um, DIBS! Look at these adorable faces! He really can't be any more perfect!

Totally finally came! The last few days have been so, SO busy! Easter, K's party, K's birthday, AND getting the house all ready for me to leave, and packing myself. It's been pretty crazy, but today is here and I am on a plane to Arizona to see my mom, sister-in-law, brother, and new baby Cash! Awwww!

I made it! It is so so nice and warm here. My momma borrowed a car and picked me up.

FINALLY! Holding this beautiful little nephew of mine! I love this little boy so much! He is so perfect; straight from heaven.

Grandma was doing a great job of babysitting Cash this afternoon. :)

I can't believe these are the only pictures from her actual birthday. She is TEN! I have a child who is in double digits. How can I be old enough for that?!
She got her set of riding gear.

After opening up her presents first thing in the morning, I gave her a hug, told her happy birthday and totally acted like that was all she was getting. She was desperately wanting a gear bike. I loved these pictures of her reaction when she first saw it. Surprise! haha!

She went to activity days with her new 10 year old group and I had the scouts at our house. She had her favorite meals all day. French Toast for breakfast, Chick-Fil-A delivered to her at school, and chicken squares for dinner. We have the tradition of watching the kids first birthday videos on their birthday. I can't believe it's been 10 years! It's hard to remember life without her.

We also had the best FHE ever! Kenadee had the lesson and had us watch a lds video online. It was great! Jackson had the activity and Taylor helped him with a few new ideas. The kids are playing "ball tag" at the park nearly every day. (basically, one person has the ball and if the ball hits you, you're it). We played that inside, but with a small stuffed animal of Kolbi's.
It. Was. So. Much. Fun.
We were running away from each other, trying to hide and not be "it". We were laughing so hard at each other. Kolbi being all crazy holding up the toy and screaming like a wild banshee chasing someone. haha! Taylor trying to hide behind one of the curtains, and there being a huge, super obvious bulge in loosely hanging curtain. haha! At one point I ran and hid in the pantry. I hear a soft, "hi mom" and look UP and Kenadee had climbed and was hanging out on the very top shelf of pantry. A swear word "might" have slipped out from under my breath. Ooops! :)
Then ended the evening eating her requested lemon pound cake. It was such a great evening! It really makes me appreciate them all. I love them all so much!!!

Today was Kenadee's birthday party! Crazy! These years seem to be flying by!
I got the new watermelon flavored cake mix and frosting from Target last week and Kenadee thought it would be good to have at there party. So I took that as the theme to decorate and for her little goodie bags. haha! She came home from school with the house all decorated and ready for her girl time.

She invited 4 friends, one got sick that day and couldn't make it. Poor girl! The girls played some Nerf war with each other before eating cupcakes and doing gifts and singing to her. Then we took off to Trafalga! Taylor had the boys at reading class and met up with us the last 45 minutes we were there. So it was just Kolbi and I for a while as the big girls ran around together and played laser tag.

My mini golfing buddy!

They cracked me up on the little kid airplanes! hahaha! They all had fun though!

Indoor mini golf,

and go carts for Kolbi and I.
