Here are cute trick or treat-ers! A pirate, tiger (it was my bother's when he was this size!), a cowgirl, and a motorcycle rider. I was kinda impressed with what we were able to come up with this year. I spent less than $3 total and everyone wore a costume they've never worn before. *insert happy dance*

Taylor is horrible at surprises and waiting till the holiday to give a gift. He gave me my birthday gifts early and he decked me out in pink riding clothes!! Even the chest protector has pink on it! I was thrilled when I saw it all. I was going to wait and post it on my birthday, but decided to wear it tonight. :)

Every year we meet up at the Beck's house, and have chili and cornbread, then hit the neighborhood with all the cousins. Everyone looked so good!

The kids made a haul, as usual! Yum! Time for my "mommy tax"!!

I love these funny ecards. Here are a bunch of my favorites as of lately. (that are also appropriate). Taylor and I often send these to one another. Makes me happy!

I've been saying versions of this to my kids lately....

Crazy hair day at school! Somehow they all ended up with versions of mohawks. By the time I picked them up from school, Jackson had taken all his hair ties out and was wearing his hoodie. I guess he was getting a headache from them. haha! Poor kid.

Back to the mat tonight, this time with some pictures of Fisher! Next week is their first tournament. I can't wait!

Raising kids is hard. Really hard. I am constantly doubting my abilities and wondering if I'm screwing them up. I know I expect too much from them sometimes. I'll admit that I constantly punish them for acting just like me. It's hard! Every once in a while, you get little glimpses. Glimpses of hope and success! Today Jackson made me this.

He sat on my lap and gave me the biggest hug. It was the longest hug I've probably ever gotten from my kids. I was starting to wonder if he was asleep. After a few minutes, we laid on the couch and he kept snuggling me. I fell asleep real quick, and apparently he didn't. After I woke up he said my snoring sounded like a motorcycle. hahaha! Sorry bud. I sure am grateful for these little moments!!

Later on today, we decided to carve our pumpkins. The kids did lots of the work! I love how helpful they're getting now that they're getting older.

They were thrilled with the outcome! We haven't carved pumpkins in 6 years. Poor kids! I definitely think we'll be doing it every year from now on. After the kids got over their tears from touching the slimy guts, they had a blast. It was a cheap way to take up a few hours too! :)

We had the perfect riding weather today! We went to a new spot that was super close; like 7 minutes away. We rode a few miles and found the dirt tracks we were looking for. They were awesome! I landed one jump and landed pretty rough, so I went around to try it again, hoping to improve it. Well, this time, I went farther than I thought I would, and landed at the next jumps incline. My chest hit the padded bar SO hard and I gave myself some serious whiplash. I'm SO grateful Taylor was letting me wear his chest protector. (He always does. I haven't had the experience he has and I'm a lot more dumb. Obviously!) It seriously ROCKED me! I immediately stopped and tried to catch my breath. I was telling myself, "You're ok. Just focus on your breaths; you'll be ok in a few minutes." Currently, my neck is hurting really bad! It is really sore.

No pictures while we were out. We forgot to put it in the backpack.

The kids found some good dirt piles while we loaded up all the gear.

A few more bruises too.

Kinda hard to tell, unless you know what you're looking for... I got a little sunburn. I was wearing elbow pads because I didn't have long sleeve shirt on. haha!

Kolbi is seriously in love with her clothes and fashion in general. It is the cutest thing! I told her we were going to Dad's work for his little Halloween celebration, and she started counting down the time till we would go. She kept herself occupied in the meantime by picking out her outfit. :)

I've been painting the chairs for the craft room the last few days. Taylor came outside while I was sanding them down and distressing the green color. He sat in one I had just finished distressing. I hadn't wiped it down yet.... hahaha! I had him wipe the back of his shorts off, but didn't notice his shirt until he was watching his nachos in the microwave. I laughed out loud!

This is why I coupon! These toys are normally in the $55-$60 range. I got this one for $24. Heck ya!! I'll have one surprised girl come Christmas!

I hate when a cop is behind me. It makes me seriously nervous!

Wrestling season is here! Fisher is old enough now and was so excited that he could participate. I didn't get any pictures of him though, next week. Fisher practices for an hour, then Jackson does immediately after. Taylor stays for the 2 hours to help with both boys. There are two coaches that wrestle at UVU who come to teach, but lots of dads stay (and are encouraged to) to help out. He was kinda impressed with how Fisher was for his first time ever. It took Jackson a few minutes to have it "all come back" to him. I sure do enjoy watching my kids learn new things and perfect sporting techniques. (of course Taylor and I had to wear our Colts gear proudly today!) :)

This little girl was such a sweetie during dinner tonight. HA!

Tonight was the game we've been so excited for! The Colts played the Broncos. Oooooh!!!!!
It was a great game! Here is our "it's halftime and we're up by 12 points" face. We know Manning all too well though to celebrate that early.

It came to final score of 39-33 for Indy! It was great to see all the fans cheer and still love Manning even though he doesn't play for them anymore. The crowd loved Peyton. It made me proud to be one "of those" fans. The classy ones. LOTS of teams fans aren't quite this dignified and respectful. The only time the crowd booed was when the refs made a really bad call and cost the Colts a touchdown. It was legitimately an incorrect call, but it's one of the few calls that can't be reversed, even after being reviewed. However the refs calls it on the field, is how it stays. It was an awesome game though. I was hoping for a good game; a close game. I didn't want a blowout either way. The Colts looked strong, back to normal, after last weeks bad loss!!
