Today was good day! I got lots of errands done this morning. I even ran into my friend Emily at DI. I should probably be embarrassed at how happy I was when I saw her face. It made me so happy!

Taylor's been looking safety gear for me. Should make my mom pretty happy too. ;)

Taylor spent a LOT of time working on homework with Jackson today. I guess getting the largest clock we own was the most convenient.

Ever since we moved Kolbi's room downstairs and finished her new closet, she has been OBSESSED with her clothes. She can reach them all on her own now. She is constantly organizing, reorganizing, sorting, making piles with her clothes. She picks her clothes out before going to bed every night. She is seriously crazy about her clothes!

I got a super surprising phone call last night from my little sister. She said they were driving some equipment down to the Mexico border.... basically, she was going to pass by our house and was hoping to stay for a night. Um... HECK YA! I was so excited to see her and Heath to put it lightly. They'd only be here for about 12 hours total, but I'll take ANY time I can get with Courtney. When they showed up pulling this trailer, my jaw dropped. Heath said they got like 8-9 miles per gallon! Wow.

The kids love Heath!

Yes, I am fully aware of how I look in these pictures, but I wasn't going to pass up pictures with her!

I seriously love Courtney SO much! She is such a sweet, tender, thoughtful girl! I miss her every. single. day.

Ooh, cute!

I love both of these. So relatable!

Fisher is such a good big brother to Kolbi! He sat here and played Polly Pockets with her for a long time. It made me happy to see them playing together so well.

My poor friend! She is in her first trimester and has been really sick. I came over to her house late one night while her other two kids were sleeping. Her husband took her to the hospital and she was pumped full of fluids because she hadn't been able to keep anything down. PLUS she is moving in 3 days. Bless her heart! I was only there a few hours and not sure why I sent Tay this picture of me on their couch....

Fall is officially here! It's always good to have the weather cool off and to have some changes, but this drop in weather happened fast! It's in the 40's already!! Time to turn on the heater and make soup!

Think Kenadee has grown much in the last 6 months?! Sheesh! I have a giant on my hands. ;)

I seriously love this little girl! I thoroughly enjoy hanging out with her. She loves helping me fold laundry, do dishes, or anything that means she's by my side. I love it! She is finally warming up to school and started participating more. She does her "jobs" with no problem now and was so anxious to wear her new pretty dress as her reward. :)

I happily did some thrift shopping while Kolbi was in preschool this morning. Here was my favorite find. It's a youth (for Kenadee) UnderArmor hoodie. It's in amazing condition and was $6. I LOVE the button details at the neck. I was also excited finding a Banana Republic, sheer, grey, ruffle, top, for me!

Anna and Fisher have the cutest little "thing" going on!
At Jackson's baptism.

She wrote Fisher a note at the football game.
Then to make this even cuter, here is a conversation between Anna and her dad....

Anna: dad I like Fisher.
Tee: Like as a friend?
Anna: yes but I think he would be a good boyfriend.
Tee: really? Why is that?
Anna: well dad he is a good worker and he is cute.
Tee: do you think he would treat you good?
Anna: yes hes is smart and maybe likes to hold hands.

I walked in the house the other night and saw this.... Jackson was reading a book. To his younger siblings. For the first time. Ever. Without being asked.
That's a big deal!!

I think I might need to let myself heal before going for more bike rides. A healthy amount of fear would probably do me well, too. This is about half of my injuries. We're in the process of researching and finding some safely equipment. (chest guard, shin guard, riding clothes etc....) My shin has been bruised since Labor Day and is still swollen. We're thinking I chipped the bone...

We finally found an evening that we could go riding with Jed and Megan and their kids. We've seriously asked them multiple times, but just couldn't get our schedules aligned... until today! From the moment we told the kids who was coming with us, Kenadee immediately requested to be able to ride with Brinnley at the same time. Brinn took off and the hang of it real quick. It was really cute to watch them stay close to each and take off together!
I didn't get many pictures this time, unfortunately. But we had a blast laughing at each and goofing off!

Jackson...

Kenadee... I love the pony tail flying!

 A couple of me jumping....

We even had the Smith's join us! Jim Smith was who Jed and Taylor went hunting with down in Henry mountains with that special tag. His son, Brody, was the 4 kid who got baptized with the cousins. Jack was thrilled there was going to be a boy his age! It really was awesome. We should have left earlier to get more time out there. Next time!
Here's the whole gang!

These two nephews of mine were making me giggle SO hard! Bunny ears, "petting" the helmet, banging them on each other. So funny! Love them!

I have 10 kids at my house right now... I grabbed a little reinforcement!

Thursday, September 19, 2013

Kolbi and I went on a bike ride to pick up Fisher from Kindergarten. I let the little miss have my phone. Here was her view once we were on the school property. haha! It made me laugh when I saw these on my phone! :)

Kenadee got a person, handwritten, letter from her uncle Sam who's on his mission. He's currently in San Francisco wait for his visa to go to Brazil. She was beyond excited!!!!

Tonight was Jackson's first cub scout pack meeting. I've been the wolf den leader for a year and a half and I was so excited to have Jackson join our pack. He's been REALLY excited and loves when Tuesdays roll around so he can go to scouts. Makes me happy! I think Jackson looks so cute in his little scout uniform. He earned his first badge and belt loop tonight too!

My sweet husband. I was watching my friends two kids for the evening and somehow convinced Taylor to bring all the kids to the pack meeting. I really wanted Taylor to be there to support and see Jackson receive his face paint/awards. He's such a good guy! All while he's not feeling well too. I love him!

Monday, September 16, 2013

Dad, Clint, and Natasha needed to leave this morning to head back home so they could work on Tuesday. Sad, but we really did make some the best memories we've ever had together. It was amazing!

Taylor's mom took Fisher and Kolbi out to lunch at Chick-fil-A then shopping at Target for their birthday gifts. The kids loved it! I hope Jeri had just as much fun! Kolbi picked out a Doc McStuffins doctor kit and Fisher picked out a Skylanders MegaBlocks set. So much fun!

Think she likes pink much?! All ready for her to wake up!

Kolbi somehow survived and ate her french toast (as requested) before opening her presents.

She didn't last long before she took her bike outside for a spin. She individually asked everyone to come out and watch her. So cute!

Thank goodness she was content with her new toys... I snuck in a little nap! :) We enjoyed some time at the park before coming home for dinner and cupcakes.

She seriously was cracking me up at the park! Pink from head to toe with a huge smile on her face and not a care in the world!

Her PINK cupcakes!

She loved being the center of attention while we sang happy birthday to her!

She ended her night with getting in the tub with some glow sticks and watching her birthday video. I love this girl so much! I can't believe we will never have a 3 year old again. She is so sweet and tender! Such a good, nice girl. She loves practicing writing her name, learning the sounds of the letters, PINK, anything girly (dresses, purses, rings etc...) and coloring. She loves spending time with me. I love hanging out with her; she like my little shadow!
