Awww, summertime!

It's that time of year for the annual slip-n-slide with our neighbor friends. (yes, we have friends!) There was one extra billboard this year, making the total quantity... a plethora. We always have SO much fun doing this; it never disappoints!! The kids ran up the hill for hours. Everyone took some good naps. Thanks Jayna and Clint!!

You've gotta see this movie of Jackson spinning down the slide. He goes crazy fast!!

One more reason why Dad's are cooler than Mom's. I will admit that I have many fond memories of those huge jaw breakers, but I'm pretty sure blue won't be allowed next time!

This is the beautiful scene that I get to see everyday when Taylor comes home from work. He is so loved!

And here's yet another tribute to Kolbi. She hates touching the grass,
she has upgraded to crawling on her knees,
she'll eat anything within reach,
and she has mastered crawling up the stairs. I love this little girl!
On a totally different side note, I bought these shoes when we were in Arizona and I. Am. In. Love. I've been obsessed with ruffles lately and I can't get enough of them!

Camping time!

We took the kids camping over last weekend up above Alpine in our usual spot. The weather was beautiful and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We put a blanket out on the weeds and Kolbi didn't dare crawl off it. It worked perfectly!!

I love these pictures of the kids! They are so cute!!

Isn't he handsome?! What is a camping without a few weapons?!? We saw quite a few squirrels and only a few managed to get out alive. AND I am proud to say I shot my first two squirrels and used two bullets! One was about 140 yards away too. BAM!! Even cooler than that... Taylor shot two squirrels with one bullet! That was pretty awesome!

We had a blast and will definitely be returning soon!

We had a great Pioneer Day! Oh, how love that this is payed holiday in Utah! Today started off with my first 10k. I was SO nervous! We've run that distance before, but this race had the "Goliath" and that hill lived up to it's name. It was BAD! I'm glad I didn't know what I was running prior; that would have been really discouraging! I barely moved running up that dan 1 mile hill, but I didn't stop and even passed a few who were walking. I'm sure those I passed ended up passing me... but I really didn't want to walk. I achieved that one goal! I was actually pretty happy with my time too. It's a good starting point. I don't think I've been sore since I starting running, but that hill has me limping already! The kids got their faces painted while they waited for me to finish the run. They turned out awesome!

After that, we had a bbq up at Taylor's aunt's house. Family get togethers are always fun and there was actually not a single fight! Everyone enjoyed the pool. My boys are complete opposites; Jackson is so cautious about the pool, yet Fisher is fearless. Not quite sure which one I prefer. Jackson eventually jumped off the diving board... ON Ashley. We'll work on that.

A good time was had by all!

Oh, how the times change!

Every year we take a family picture right before we watch the fireworks on July 4th. Here's a look back down memory lane...

Yes, when we got our external hard drive, I somehow managed to erase pictures and lost our 2006 one. Of course, that is something I'd do!

Isn't it crazy what a few years will do?

Well, we got a new camera and I'm warning you that from now on, there might be picture overloads. I don't know how I'm going to decide which pictures to post. Here are few just goofing off.

I didn't realize how freckley I am. Maybe Fisher gets it from me afterall.

I just can't get enough of this angel girl! Her eyes melt me! I can't describe how much I love these kids of mine!!

We went to the pool yesterday and Fisher was 'forced' to have no nap. He was really into this scripture story.

I don't know where she gets her grouch face!

We've spent a lot of mornings out on the swings. Kolbi is in LOVE! She can't get enough of it and squeals like crazy when she gets a push.

Oh, how I love his freckles!!

I finally took the kids to the library last week and they have been permanently glued to those books. Kenadee has gotten way faster at her reading in the last week alone. As a Mom, I can't be happy that they are involved in something educational, I have to feel guilty that I haven't taken them to the library in a LONG time.
