Nothing is better than free!

I love getting a good deal and Cold Stone is no exception. For everyone's birthday they send you an email for a free "Love it" size icecream. (The good kind that has LOTS of mix-ins.) We went out with our best friends, the Jackson's, to celebrate our one-year olds. The best part is that one-year olds let you pick which flavor. None of that bubble gum with gummie bears, YUCK!! We always have a good time with them; they make me smile! And Danny always puts up being the kids' jungle gym. We sure love the Jackson's!!!

Raspberry Patches

A couple of days ago my friend and I drove down to Payson to pick some fresh raspberries and blackberries. Other then getting a killer deal it was fun to do something different with the kids. I was planning on going alone, but the night before our departure Gwen decided to come with me... I don't know why I thought I could do this alone. Gwen has 3 of her own kids and they kept each other entertained the whole time. With an occasional, "I'm hungry." and "I wanna go pick the black ones." that was as bad as it got.

They weren't head-over-heals about picking the whole time so they played hide and seek and might have tasted a few along the way. Next time I would bring more things to entertain them, even if it was just crayons. I would also wear a short sleeved shirt. I was nervous about the mosquitos and the thorns but I was WAY TOO hot.
Check out that bubble butt!

This is one Kena's bestest friends, Brinnley. Their birthday's are within days of each other and they play perfect together. Gwen alson has a nearly 2 year old, Macade and a 2.5 month old, Dallin. They are all adorable, easy going, and most importantly easy to watch!!

Thanks for the company, Gwen! We'll have to do it again soon!

These videos are for my family who don't get to see the kids on a regular basis. Fisher is growing up so fast. He has the cutest personality; he is so happy and snuggly!!! I couldn't figure out to rotate the video... So, Mom, scroll down to the very bottom to pause the music then you'll be able to hear the video. I'll try to add more later..... XOXO

My baby

Today is Fisher's First Birthday. Wow, how time has gone by... He actually gave us a present today and slept in till after 9:00!! Thanks Fisher!! He is in my favorite phase right now. He is always happy, has a funny personality and plays with you, and is so lovey. He decided this week that he wanted to grow up, and took his first steps. He also waves and says "nigh, nigh." (Night, night) He'll also say "thank you", "momma", and "dadda". He LOVES his cozy. He rolls around on the ground with that blanket; it is so cute. I definately can't imagine our family without him. We love you, Fish! Happy Birthday buddy!!!

Too be honest, it took me a second to realize why there was a flag in our yard today.  Just like everyone else I can remember EXACTLY where I was and how I felt when I heard about the terrorists' attack. I won't bore you with that though. I guess I just want everyone to think of what happened on that day.  To think about ALL those families who lost their family members. Brave isn't strong enough to describe the firefighters who ran into the towers. Think about the wife's, mother's, and even father's, watching it all unfold on the t.v. KNOWING their spouse was inside....

I remember for months after, the flags were still at half mast. I have been very patriotic for as long as I can remember. I am so proud to be an American. I feel very blessed. I couldn't help but remember my blessings today when this Alan Jackson song came on the ipod randomly. I told the kids that I wanted to listen to this song, turned it up real loud and sang as I stared out the windows.  With the horses running and the wind blowing the field, I am counting my blessing today.  I hope you do too.

Go Colts!

Yes, we are huge Colts fans!! I am honestly so excited that NFL has started. This year I decided to make shirts for the kids; and I am really happy with how they turned out. Fisher's is my favorite. Taylor finally got a shirt too this year- a Walmart special!! Go Colts! (p.s. I love you Peyton!)

Preschool Begins!

What a week we've had. My little monkey has started Preschool. It was a little sad. She did awesome and was "well behaved." She has a couple of friends in her class so I think that helped. She was so excited to finally wear her school clothes/shoes. I used that as an excuse to keep them clean and unstained as long as possible. She'll do awesome; she LOVES learning!!! I am so proud of her!

She has recently told Tay and I that she doesn't want to be called a "monkey" anymore. She has grown up and doesn't want a silly nickname anymore. She just wants her normal name. This last 4 1/2 years has gone by SO fast!

Saddle Up!

I can't believe how old these boys are. I'll admit that I got teared up when we sang "Happy Birthday" to Fisher. I feel like I've tried REALLY hard to live up his baby days, (cause he might be our last) but it still seems to fly by. Fisher was a little overwhelmed with so many people in our little living room, cheering him on to open presents. Jackson was a pro at gift opening and was sad when it was Fisher's turn. I felt bad for Kenadee; she kept saying, "He's not sharing, Dad!"

Here were they're cakes. They were pretty good if I do say so myself!!

And after
Thanks for the pictures Annie!! Our camera broke the day before. You don't want to know how sad I was about that. (maybe I was mad!)
