My wonderful Grandpa Malone just passed away on Friday the 28th around 9:30 pm. He died at home with my Grandma and aunt there. His health has been poor lately and his passing wasn't much of a surprise... with that being said it's still hard. My Mom put it best saying, "it's just empty now." Grandpa is a wonderful man. An amazing example to me and my family. I know growing up when my family would be struggling my grandparents would always help us out... even all the way down in Arizona. (I grew up in Washington) He always put others first and ALWAYS had a smile on his face. He is one of the happiest people I know. I hope I can be that way too. These pictures were obviously taken a while ago looking at how little my kids are, but these are the last ones I have of him.
So right now, I am so grateful to have the knowledge of the gospel in my life. It is so reassuring knowing that he is in a better place having a wonderful reunion with his parents and siblings. Lloyd Malone will be greatly missed here on the earth, but his life will be celebrated!! I love you so much Grandpa!! Thank you!!

We had a white Christmas again this year; another storm came Christmas eve and laid some more snow on top of the old bunch. It was beautiful!! The kids sure enjoyed Christms. They get spoiled every year...thanks to all of our family and grandparents. They are loving all of their new toys; they've been entertaining themselves, which is nice. Fisher feel asleep on the couch while the older kids were busily opening their gifts; that made me smile. I hope everyones holiday was as enjoyable as ours!!!

Fisher is growing like crazy!! I can't believe he's already 3.5 months old. He is a great baby. If he's awake he is happy. He loves smiling at his siblings, and Mom of course. :) He is really trying to talk more and more. He is just an angel. All the kids have colds right now, so Fisher isn't sleeping great at night anymore. He wakes himself up coughing, the poor kid. He has recently found his hands and shows them off all the time...it's really cute to watch him grow and figure out this world he's in. Babies are so special!

My brother came into town for Christmas again this year and we had so much fun. The kids love uncle Clint and he helped out a lot with them. It is always so nice to have family visit, especially for the holidays. We love you Clint!!

My kids love Santa. Kenadee informed me that she wants Santa to bring her a pony. First of all, we call them horses so I don't know where she got "pony" and then when I tried to explain that we don't have anywhere to put a horse she told me she'd keep it in our house. I told her that horses don't know how to use the potty so it would poop on our floor, "Mom, I'll wipe it's bum when it goes poo poo." I hope she'll settle for a bike. Jackson doesn't understand that Santa brings toys to the kids. Maybe next year. He sure didn't mind sitting on his lap though. I am actually so excited for their Christmas this year... we got both of them bikes. I think they'll be really happy. I am just so excited to see there faces when they wake up this bikes in our front room. Christmas is, after all, all about the kids. :)

We've started doing an exchange with our neighbors on the weekends where we each take the other two couples kids. That way we get two date nights to one "babysitting" night. This is a picture of our first night with all 7 seven kids. A little overwhelming and loud but the kids have fun. The 1 year olds have been the hardest, not really use to being with other adults. The older four play pretty well together... of course the occasional "you need to share/take turns" but well worth getting a few FREE dates!! I highly recommend it! :)
